Job summary

MCR Property Group is seeking a Maintenance Manager for Flow Student in Bradford to lead the on-site maintenance team, ensure safety and compliance, and deliver proactive upkeep of buildings. Qualifications

• Proven experience as a maintenance manager or supervisor in relevant property sectors.
• Strong knowledge of building services including heating, electrical and plumbing.
• Experience leading a maintenance team and managing budgets and contractor relations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the maintenance team, allocate work, set standards and ensure safety.
• Oversee reactive and planned maintenance across all areas, prioritising issues to minimise disruption.
• Plan preventive maintenance to extend asset life and reduce breakdowns.
• Ensure statutory compliance including fire, gas, electrical safety and inspections.
• Manage external contractors for repairs and refurbishments, ensuring value for money.
• Control costs by managing the maintenance budget and identifying efficiency gains.
• Prepare for peak periods by planning room turnarounds and inspections.
• Maintain stock, equipment and accurate records of maintenance work and safety inspections.
• Support student experience by collaborating with site colleagues and handling feedback.
