Lead Maintenance Engineer (Elec Bias)
Scantec Recruitment are working in partnership with a fantastic FMCG manufacturing business at their site in Manchester. We’re looking for a Lead / Senior Maintenance Engineer to lead a small team in a site that has undergone a multimillion-pound investment. Role profile:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for supervising, coordinating, and delivering of all the shift engineering maintenance activities, both planned and ad hoc on your shift. You will be responsible for ensuring that weekly work plans are effective in achieving the lowest possible downtime whilst supporting the operations team to maintain production efficiencies in a fast-paced 24/7 FMCG environment.

06:30 - 18:30 / 18:30 - 06:30
Overtime is available, paid at x1.5 & double time.
Brief summary of responsibilities:
Required Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
We're seeking a Senior Engineer with proven leadership & team management abilities. You'll need to have a recognised Engineering Apprenticeship (Electrical or Multi skilled) and be qualified to ONC or BTEC equivalent (HNC is desirable). Ideally Food Manufacturing experience or FMCG background.
