Job description

Lead Maintenance Engineer - Kensington, South West London - Up to £50,000 Per Annum

Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM Property company based in Kensington, South West London. We are currently recruiting for an Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to be based at a large private luxury residential development situated in Kensington, South West London. The successful candidate will be a fully qualified Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with a proven track record in commercial/property building maintenance. He or she will be required to carry out M&E/Fabric planned and reactive maintenance/installation across this large static site within a 2-person team.

Working with the maintenance team on site, the candidate should have hands-on experience or understanding of the following:

• Lighting (small installations, fault-finding, lamp replacement, changing ballast, control panels, power distribution)
• Emergency lighting
• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Units (filter changes, cleaning)
• Chillers - re-setting
• Water Treatment (temperature checks, not dosing)
• Plumbing - unblocking toilets
• BMS System - monitoring (e.g., hot & cold)
• UPS Systems - monitoring and taking readings
• General building fabric maintenance

Positions Available

The client is looking for 1 x Lead Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (£50K).

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday, 08:00 am to 17:00 pm (40-hour week).

Requirements

• Electrically or mechanically qualified - please provide copies of your trade certificates
• City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 & 3
• Proven experience in commercial or property maintenance
• Excellent customer service skills
• Willing to cover a large site
• Ideally experienced in high-end residential settings
• Honest, hardworking, and reliable

Package

• Up to £50,000 per annum
• Overtime available
