LEAD Careers is recruiting a Senior Landscape Planner in Gloucestershire with a focus on LVIA leadership across residential, infrastructure and commercial projects. The role requires a degree in landscape architecture and CMLI designation, with strong AutoCAD, GIS and Adobe Suite skills.

You will lead LVIA processes, prepare reports, coordinate with planning teams and consultants, and mentor junior staff while delivering high-quality visuals and environmental analysis.

Qualifications

• A degree in Landscape Architecture.
• Chartered Landscape Architect (CMLI).
• Significant LVIA leadership experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, GIS.
• Experience managing complex projects from inception to completion.
• Strong understanding of landscape planning policy and environmental legislation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments.
• Prepare and deliver LVIA reports.
• Collaborate with planning teams, clients, and environmental consultants.
• Conduct fieldwork and site visits to assess landscape and visual factors.
• Assess impact of proposed developments and recommend mitigations.
• Produce visualisations including 3D models and photomontages.
• Mentor junior staff and guide LVIA methodologies and delivery.
