Job summary

SSE is hiring a LV/HV Electrical Lead Construction Fitter to operate across multiple locations in the Southern region. The role covers construction in live substations (11kV–132kV) with emphasis on safety and high-quality delivery.

You will install relays, CT metering gear, and contribute to project execution while traveling across our network. A company vehicle is provided and there is training to gain further authorisations.

Qualifications

• Experience in constructing electrical apparatus within substations on distribution networks 11kV–132kV.
• Strong emphasis on safety, CDM compliance and customer service.
• Flexibility for travel across the Southern region.

Responsibilities

• Construct electrical apparatus in live substations up to 132kV.
• Install and commission CT metering and relay panels.
• Support safety, quality and project deadlines on site.
