Job summary

Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks is seeking a Low Voltage to High Voltage Lead Electrical Construction Fitter to join the Southern region team. Based across our listed locations including Reading, Basingstoke or Swindon, you will assemble equipment in substations from 11kV to 132kV and deliver safe, live-environment projects.

You will hold strong safety focus, read wiring diagrams, and communicate effectively with customers while supporting SSEN's brand and service commitments.

Qualifications

Experience in live substation environments 11kV-132kV.
Ability to read single line diagrams and cable ferruling.
Strong safety focus and CDM compliance.

Responsibilities

Construct electrical apparatus within substations 11kV-132kV.
Safely deliver projects in live environments and respond to faults.
Install fixed relays and CT metering apparatus.
Represent SSEN with customers to uphold service standards.
