Job summary

Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks is seeking a meticulous LV/HV Lead Electrical Construction Fitter to join our Southern region team. The role involves constructing electrical apparatus in live substations (11kV–132kV) and delivering safety‑driven projects with strong customer service.

Qualifications

Experience working in live substations from 11kV to 132kV.
Strong focus on safety and CDM compliance.
Ability to read single-line diagrams and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

Construct electrical apparatus within substations on the distribution network (11kV–132kV).
Deliver construction projects safely in live environments and respond to faults.
Install fixed relays and CT metering equipment; commission systems.
Represent SSE with customers, upholding world class service and brand.
