Job summary

Venture Global LNG is seeking a experienced Process DCS Operator to monitor and control LNG facility operations from the control room. The role requires leadership during shifts and coordination with EPC contractors for safe, efficient performance.

Key duties include operating DCS, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and mentoring junior operators while supporting pre-commissioning and start-up activities.

Qualifications

• Eight (8) years’ experience, including four as a DCS Operator, commissioning, startup & operations in oil & gas, petrochemical.
• Associate degree or relevant training; high school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Operate the DCS control console to monitor and regulate process variables and control flows.
• Ensure safe operations and comply with safety/environmental regulations.
• Coordinate start-ups/shutdowns and report deviations to shifts.
• Support commissioning, start-up, and initial operation with project teams.
• Provide technical support during shift operations and mentor operators.
