Job summary

Venture Global LNG is seeking a Senior Production Engineer, Liquefaction, to join the Integrated Production Excellence team in Cameron, LA, with frequent travel to Arlington, VA. This role reports to the Manager of Production Engineering and aims to optimize the Availability and Performance of the CP2 LNG Trains and support overall CP Facility production system improvements.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor's in Chemical/Process Engineering, have 5+ years in production engineering, LNG

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Process or related Engineering degree required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as an engineer, preferably in Production Engineering.
• Experience in pre-treatment required.
• Experience supporting commissioning activities.
• Oil and Gas experience is required, LNG preferred.
• Travel to Arlington, VA as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set CP Facility LNG Trains Production daily targets and define operating limits.
• Build and maintain real-time surveillance and monitoring models for CP facility trains.
• Analyze deviations from live operating envelope limits and identify required actions.
• Identify short-, medium-, and long-term improvements to maximize LNG rundown.
• Identify production risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Contribute to weekly and monthly Production reviews and follow-up actions.
• Identify production loss events and coordinate with engineering, maintenance and operations.
• Lead or participate in EIRs/MoCs to improve CP Trains performance.
• Lead or participate in RCAs for production losses.
• Support LTSA processes and input for production planning.
• Capture lessons learned for other Venture Global LNG projects.
