Job summary

Lanes Group is seeking a Lead Lining Operative based at our Bradford office to drive and manage lining projects across contracts in the region. You will report to the Lining Project Manager and lead a team, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The role is permanent, Monday to Friday, 7am-5pm (50 hours/week). A full UK driving license is essential, and the ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to support sites and clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage the lining teams and workflow.
• Support audits, compliance, and site safety.
• Solve problems with analytical thinking.
• Interact with customers and clients.
• Coordinate with client and lining team on live jobs.
• Oversee fleet and plant management.
• Monitor productivity and maintain housekeeping.
• Lead meetings at various sites weekly.
• Daily management of live work bank and prioritisation.
• Escalate safety issues per company procedures.
• Demonstrate leadership and drive CPI improvements.
• Ensure alignment with values: stronger together.
