Job summary

Adler & Allan is seeking a Tank Lining Operative in the UK to join a skilled team delivering fuel tank relining projects across forecourts. You will work in a collaborative setting, performing confined-space tasks and ensuring high safety and quality standards.

The role involves hands-on fieldwork, documentation, and occasional leadership duties. Applicants should have a clean UK driving licence, RAMS knowledge, and rights to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Clean UK driving licence with categories for up to 3.5 tonne operation.
• RAMS documentation experience advantageous.
• Right to Work in UK required.
• Petrol forecourts experience desirable.
• Willingness to undertake additional training to support the division.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 4–5 person team to deliver fuel tank relining projects at petrol forecourts.
• Carry out confined space entries with permits and atmospheric monitoring.
• Tank cleaning and degassing to prepare for internal works.
• Surface preparation including grit blasting for lining application.
• Apply Adler & Allan relining system using specialist resins and laminates.
• Lead operative or supervisor duties as required and coordinate team activities.
• Maintain tools, equipment, PPE and vehicles in good condition and report defects.
• Complete all job documentation accurately and timely, including permits and reports.
• Promote health and safety culture by reporting near misses and hazards.
• Liaise with supervision to provide progress updates and improvements.
