Job summary

Short Heath Federation is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work initially at Lane Head Nursery School. The role is term-time only, 32.5 hours per week, with pro-rata pay. You will support learning across the Early Years Foundation Stage, lead a family group of children and contribute to their wellbeing and development.

• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
• Knowledge of birth to three and 3-4 years age phases.
• Experience observing and assessing children's learning.
• Ability to plan for and support children with identified high needs.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare.

Responsibilities

• Lead a family group of children and support their learning, development and wellbeing.
• Demonstrate high-quality interactions to support learning and development.
