Job summary

LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) in London is seeking a Kubernetes Production Engineer to run production Kubernetes at scale for latency‑sensitive, real‑time financial market applications.

You will work closely with platform build teams, architects and application owners to harden platforms, improve operational tooling and ensure production readiness before and after go‑live. This role suits a hands-on engineer with a production mindset.

Qualifications

• Proven enterprise Kubernetes and cloud-native network engineering in large production environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the production operation of Kubernetes and hybrid cloud platforms.
• Evolve monitoring, alerting and observability across clusters.
• Analyze platform behaviour under load and drive improvements.
• Support incident response, root cause analysis and post-incident actions for Kubernetes-based services.
• Partner with platform engineers and application teams to ensure production readiness.
• Improve automation, runbooks and operational tooling to reduce manual intervention.
• Act as a Kubernetes production SME and advise on best practice and operational standards.
• Influence platform roadmaps through data-driven operational insights.
