The Role

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspirational leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support continuous coaching and development of your team to achieve their best, while driving restaurant performance and delivering excellent results.

What You Will Do
  • Create a caring and supportive environment, celebrating successes and nurturing talent, role-modeling a coaching culture within the management team.
  • Ensure an exceptional guest experience by maintaining high standards in dish preparation and team skills.
  • Maintain spotless food, health, and safety standards; understand financial aspects such as gross profit, stock control, and labour costs, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Build a strong, motivated team through recruitment and ongoing development, fostering personal and professional growth.
  • Be a forward-thinking problem solver, capable of quick decision-making and adaptability.
What We Look For
  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef, with a track record of performance in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to have meaningful conversations and support your team.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, health, and safety standards.
  • Understanding of financial performance, including gross profit and stock control.
  • Ability to manage labour costs and adapt to changing demands.
