Job summary

Care UK is seeking a Cook to lead a busy kitchen in a care home, ensuring smooth operation and faithful execution of menu plans while offering residents alternatives. You’ll bake cakes and pastries for social events and our café, and cater to a range of dietary requirements. You’ll manage stock, costs, and uphold Food Safety and Health & Safety standards.

You will train and develop a team to help them realise their potential, while aligning with Care UK’s values of care, passion and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Ability to bake a variety of cakes and pastries for events.
• Strong focus on food safety and health & safety in kitchen operations.
