Job summary

Uniting Ambition is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer in London on a hybrid basis, combining Java/Kotlin backend with modern frontend work and owning features end-to-end in a scalable system. Work with product and design, build RESTful services, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 6–7 years of software development experience in an agile team.
• Proven production experience with Java/Kotlin and modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience with distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and SQL/NoSQL data stores.
• Bonus: event-driven architecture, Docker/Kubernetes, or CI/CD experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable backend services (Java/Kotlin, RESTful APIs, microservices, SQL/NoSQL).
• Develop responsive, modern frontend applications and collaborate with product and design.
• Take end-to-end ownership of small projects, writing clean, well-tested, maintainable code.
