Job summary

Client Server in London is seeking a Principal Software Engineer with Java Spring Boot and AWS to lead client projects, design and deliver complex transformations, and migrate legacy systems to the cloud.

You will work on a hybrid work-from-home policy with three days in the London office, collaborating with fintech clients to drive CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments, while shaping engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial services or Fintech environments.
• Strong Java development skills including multi-threading and concurrency.
• Experience with Spring Boot and microservices.
• Good knowledge of REST APIs.
• Good understanding of AWS.
• Familiar with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborative, problem solving and client interaction skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead client projects, often long term technical transformations.
• Design, develop and deliver a range of projects for clients.
• Focus on migrating legacy systems to AWS and introducing CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to engineering best practices and continuous improvement.
• Engage with clients and provide expertise on technical solutions.
