Job summary

ITG is looking for a talented Lead Java Developer to build and maintain a range of web-based products for high-profile clients. You will work in a cross-functional, product-style team with QA, frontend, and backend developers, using Java, Spring Boot, and AI-assisted tooling.

You will lead from a technology standpoint, mentor teammates, and help define development strategy while delivering incrementally in an Agile setup. The role emphasizes collaboration and delivering high-quality software.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Java development for web-based products and tools.
• Experience with Spring/Spring Boot frameworks and RESTful services.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in sprint teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with account directors, creative teams and clients to deliver projects on time.
• Define and execute development strategy and code quality practices.
• Mentor and develop junior developers within the team.
• Implement and improve working practices and AI-assisted delivery.
• Lead code reviews and estimation of tasks across projects.
