Prezzo Italian is seeking a proactive Sous Chef to join our busy kitchen and support the Head Chef on every shift. You’ll lead the pass, coach the team and step in when required, ensuring every dish is cooked to spec and presented with pride.

In this role you’ll work closely with front of house, manage ordering and stock, and uphold food safety and allergen standards, while developing your own kitchen leadership skills within our growing Brava restaurant family.

• Experience in a busy, high-volume kitchen with shift leadership.
• Pride in food and consistency on every plate.
• Calm under pressure with a people-first approach.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and allergens.
• Ambition to run your own kitchen someday.

Responsabilités

• Run the pass and lead shifts with confidence.
• Train and coach the team, developing the chefs of tomorrow.
• Step up and run the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence.
• Jump on any section when it's needed.
• Work closely with front of house to give every guest a great impression.
• Make sure every dish is prepared fresh, cooked to spec and plated.
• Help manage ordering, stock and waste.
• Lead on food safety, allergens and health and safety.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organised and audit-ready.
