Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Manager, Content Developer to lead international qualification development and strategy within a matrix structure. You will oversee design, development, and delivery of market-winning qualifications and teaching materials, while aligning with regulatory and customer needs.

You will manage a product development team, drive timelines, and ensure quality across the qualification lifecycle, with hybrid working in the UK. Strong leadership and budget skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Understanding of education assessment principles and practices.
• Experience designing and developing qualifications, products or curricula that engage teachers and learners.
• Ability to navigate complex development in a matrix organisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead international qualification development and design to market-winning standards.
• Manage the qualification development pipeline and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure quality assurance checks and regulatory compliance throughout development.
• Lead on development strategy, principles and talent recruitment for product developers.
• Line-manage Product Developers, set priorities and monitor delivery for timeliness and quality.
• Manage opex/capex budgets and contribute to multi-year forecasting.
