Job summary

Successfactors is seeking a Senior Inspection Engineer at the Stanlow Manufacturing Complex, Ellesmere Port. You will lead a team of Plant Inspectors, ensuring safe delivery of inspection programmes and risk-based integrity management aligned with regulatory requirements.

You will bring substantial refinery experience, with expertise in fixed equipment inspection, turnaround support, and contractor management; professional registration and RBI knowledge are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Metallurgy or related discipline.
• Recognised inspection qualifications such as API 510, API 570, API 653, ASME Plant Inspector or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of PSSR and refinery asset integrity management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Plant Inspectors to deliver inspection activities safely and to technical standards.
• Manage inspection workloads across routine operations, turnarounds, statutory inspections and emergent issues.
• Review, approve and optimise inspection plans in line with WSEs and regulations.
• Drive delivery of inspection strategies aligned with asset integrity and risk management.
• Provide technical guidance on inspection findings, data interpretation and reporting.
