Job summary

The Institute of Ismaili Studies (IIS) seeks an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support the Aga Khan Centre's IT infrastructure. You will manage servers, networks, cloud services, security, and educational technologies, reporting to the IT Operations Manager.

As a technical consultant on projects, you will conduct horizon scanning and strategic technology planning, working with the IT team to deliver reliable, secure, and user-focused solutions in a diverse academic setting.

Qualifications

• IT infrastructure experience and strong knowledge of OS, networks, servers and security.
• Experience giving advanced technical support and acting as escalation point.
• Experience with horizon scanning and strategic technology planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical infrastructure support across AKC.
• Act as escalation point for complex infrastructure issues.
• Lead and mentor junior staff within IT team.
• Collaborate with users to deliver secure, reliable technology solutions.
