Job summary

Investigo is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join its Cloud & Hosting function, driving secure, scalable cloud infrastructure across a complex international environment. You will own IaC, automation, and cloud security while collaborating with global teams and managed providers.

The role requires strong expertise in Azure and/or AWS, cloud networking and security, and a track record of reliability improvements in large-scale environments. A strategic, proactive mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise cloud engineering with Azure and/or AWS.
• Deep knowledge of cloud networking and security, including hybrid connectivity.
• IaC/automation experience using Terraform; familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Scripting skills across Python, PowerShell or Bash are essential.
• Experience managing incidents, changes and service continuity at scale.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and continuously improve secure, scalable cloud and hybrid infrastructure.
• Provide expertise across Azure, AWS, networking, security, identity and connectivity.
• Develop cloud standards, reference architectures and reusable platform patterns.
• Lead IaC and automation using Terraform, CI/CD pipelines and scripting.
• Design and manage cloud networking, including firewalls, VPNs and load balancers.
• Support cloud security, governance, compliance and risk management.
• Lead investigations of complex incidents and drive reliability improvements.
• Collaborate with internal teams and managed providers to operate enterprise cloud services.
• Contribute to cloud transformation, migration and FinOps across programmes.
• Act as a senior SME guiding cloud platform strategy and engineering standards.
