Moderna seeks a scientist to lead the development, qualification, validation and execution of complex cell-based immunoassays supporting clinical programs. You will drive assay excellence, generate high-quality data, and work within a multidisciplinary team on an on-site basis at Harwell.

The role requires strong immunology expertise, experience with GLP/GCLP environments, and leadership capabilities to mentor junior staff and collaborate with external partners.

Qualificações

• Ph.D. > 2 yrs or BSc/MSc with >6 years’ experience in immunology, or related field conducting assay validation in clinical Immunology under GLP/GCLP environment.
• Infectious diseases/virology/bacteriology/oncology background preferred with containment level 3 familiarity is an advantage.
• Experience with cell culture and cell-based assays, especially viral neutralization or bacteriology assays.

Responsabilidades

• Lead cell-based immunoassay development across clinical programs.
• Ensure quality and integrity of projects for Moderna clinical trials.
• Design, develop, optimize and execute immunoassays for clinical development objectives.
• Lead assay qualification and validation to meet regulatory and operational standards.
• Perform clinical sample testing and data analysis with robust, reproducible datasets.
