Job summary

Moderna is seeking a senior immunoassay scientist to lead the development, qualification, and execution of cell-based immunoassays that support clinical trials across multiple therapeutic areas at the Harwell site.

You will serve as a scientific SME within the Immunoassay group, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to drive assay excellence while adopting emerging digital and AI-enabled workflows. The role is on-site in the UK.

Qualifications

• PhD in immunology or related field with 2+ years postdoc/industry experience preferred.
• Experience in assay validation under GLP/GCLP.
• Strong data analysis and interpretation skills in clinical contexts.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, qualification, and execution of cell-based immunoassays for clinical programs.
• Ensure quality and integrity of projects supporting Moderna clinical trials.
• Author technical and validation reports and study documentation.
