Equans in Salford is seeking a Lead Technician to manage the technical performance and maintenance within the Salford Royal Hospital contract. You will guide the on-site team, coordinate with helpdesk and client staff, and ensure compliant, high-quality service delivery.

The role requires experience in FM for healthcare, strong leadership, and the ability to plan and prioritise multiple tasks in a live hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital facilities management or similar environments is preferred.
• HAVC, pumps, medical gases and steam systems knowledge is beneficial.
• Apprentice-trained candidates with mechanical/electrical background welcome.

Responsabilités

• Lead and organise the on-site technical team for the Salford contract.
• Plan, schedule and supervise preventive and reactive works via helpdesk/Maximo.
• Attend on-call duties and coordinate with client staff and suppliers.
• Ensure records and audits are up to date and compliant.
