Job summary

Rullion is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead the delivery of high-voltage transmission equipment packages on a major renewable and grid infrastructure project in Manchester. You will coordinate design, manufacture, testing, installation and commissioning to ensure safety, schedule, budget, and quality targets are met.

The role requires 5+ years in electrical transmission projects, strong stakeholder management, and willingness to travel within the UK and internationally.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience in electrical transmission, power systems or utility infra projects.
• Proven ability to manage HV transmission equipment packages.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of transmission equipment packages across large-scale projects.
• Coordinate design, manufacture, testing, installation and commissioning phases.
• Manage engineering work packages from tender through completion.
• Provide technical leadership across disciplines and with stakeholders.
• Oversee planning, scheduling, cost, risk, and quality controls.
• Manage subcontract packages and supplier coordination.
• Produce regular project reports and maintain information management.
• Lead design/process/project review meetings.
• Support commissioning and handover activities.
