Job summary

Rullion Managed Services seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead the delivery of transmission equipment packages on major renewable and power transmission projects in Manchester and beyond. You will coordinate design, manufacture, testing, installation, and commissioning across multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires 5+ years in electrical transmission, a degree in Electrical/Power Engineering, and strong leadership with commercial awareness.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience delivering high-voltage primary and secondary transmission equipment packages.
• Strong project management and stakeholder management experience.
• Commercial awareness with budgets, schedules, risks and resources.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering delivery of transmission equipment packages across large-scale power transmission projects.
• Coordinate engineering, design, manufacturing, testing, and installation activities.
• Manage project-related electrical systems from tender to project completion.
• Provide technical leadership across engineering disciplines and stakeholders.
• Oversee planning, scheduling, cost management, and risk management.
• Manage subcontract packages including supplier coordination.
• Produce regular project reports and ensure information management.
• Lead design, process and project review meetings.
• Support commissioning and handover activities.
