You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, review specifications and drawings, mentor junior engineers, and ensure compliance with British and international standards.

Qualifikationen

• HV/MV cable design experience required.
• Experience with substation and transmission projects.
• Knowledge of cable sizing and routing calculations.
• Familiarity with UK and international standards.

Aufgaben

• Lead and deliver HV/MV cable design packages.
• Undertake cable sizing, rating and technical calculations.
• Develop cable routes, layouts, schedules and design documentation.
• Produce and review technical specifications and drawings.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and other engineering disciplines.
• Support design reviews and resolve technical queries.
• Ensure designs meet relevant standards and project requirements.
