Job summary

Bupa's The Bridles care home in Wincanton is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead a team and maintain high standards of cleanliness across all areas. This full-time role (37.5 hours) runs 09:00–17:00 and includes alternating weekend shifts, providing a stable schedule and an opportunity to contribute to a residents-centered environment.

You will guide housekeepers, manage rotas, ensure supplies, and work closely with maintenance and management to keep rooms and communal spaces spotless.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping with high cleanliness standards.
• Strong communication to lead and motivate team.
• Able to work independently and prioritise tasks.

Responsibilities

• Always ensuring high standards of cleanliness within our home, you’ll work closely with the maintenance and management teams to ensure every room is well looked after.
• Leading by example, you will vacuum, mop floors, polish and generally ensure the up-keep of all communal areas and our resident’s bedrooms.
• Supervising housekeeping and laundry assistants, you’ll manage staff rotas, any training that is required and ensure that all housekeeping and domestic items are in stock or replenished accordingly.
