Job summary

Reed Education is recruiting an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in Croydon and Sutton, with potential opportunities across London and Surrey. You will lead lessons in the absence of the class teacher and support teachers to raise attainment.

You should hold an HLTA qualification or equivalent, have KS1/KS2 experience, strong behaviour management and the confidence to lead whole-class learning sessions with a proactive, flexible

Qualifications

• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience required.
• Experience working with Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
• Strong behaviour management and ability to lead whole-class learning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
• Support teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
• Lead small-group interventions to raise attainment and progress.
• Assist with lesson planning and the preparation of learning resources.
• Provide feedback on pupil progress to teaching staff.
