Job summary

Reed Education, in partnership with Inspire Trust, is seeking an experienced High Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to cover KS1 and KS2 in Greenwich, London. The role focuses on leading lessons, supporting teachers, and delivering interventions to boost pupil progress.

Deliver pre-planned lessons when needed, support across KS1/KS2, and provide feedback to staff. Local schools offer ongoing opportunities through Reed.

Qualifications

• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience working within Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
• Strong behaviour management skills.
• Confidence in leading whole-class learning sessions.
• A proactive and flexible approach to supporting teaching and learning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
• Support teaching and learning across KS1 and KS2 classes.
• Lead small-group interventions to raise attainment and accelerate progress.
• Assist with lesson planning and the preparation of learning resources.
• Provide feedback on pupil progress and attainment to teaching staff.
