Supply Desk Ltd in Gerrards Cross is seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support pupils across the school. You will deliver planned lessons, lead small group activities and provide additional support to learners with a range of abilities and SEND.

Working closely with teachers and the SEND team, you will monitor progress, adapt resources and help create an inclusive, supportive learning environment where every child can achieve their potential.

Qualifications

• HLTA qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational support role.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and communication difficulties.
• Confidence in delivering lessons and leading learning activities independently.
• Strong communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Deliver planned lessons and learning activities to individuals, small groups and whole classes in the absence of the class teacher.
• Provide high-quality teaching and learning support across different year groups and subjects.
• Work alongside teachers to plan, prepare and adapt learning resources to meet pupils' individual needs.
• Support pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
• Monitor, assess and record pupils' progress, providing feedback to teachers.
• Implement and support individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support plans.
• Lead targeted interventions to support literacy, numeracy, communication and social development.
• Promote positive behaviour and high expectations of learning and conduct.
