Protocol Education Limited | Basildon is seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to lead a learning room in a SEN provision. This full-time role involves supporting pupils with diverse needs and delivering planned interventions, with potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The HLTA will work closely with teachers, therapists and support staff to foster a positive, engaging learning environment and help pupils reach their full potential.

Qualifications

• HLTA qualification or relevant experience.
• Experience working with SEN pupils.
• Confident leading groups and managing a classroom environment.
• Positive, patient, and adaptable approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a classroom within an SEN provision and support pupils in achieving their goals.
• Deliver planned learning activities and interventions for diverse needs.
• Support pupils with additional needs in daily routines and learning tasks.
