Job summary

Teacher Active is seeking an experienced HLTA to support primary schools across Nottingham and the surrounding areas. You will cover day-to-day supply, deliver planned lessons, lead groups and provide targeted intervention.

Ideal candidates have HLTA or Teaching Assistant experience, strong classroom management, safeguarding knowledge, and the ability to work flexibly across year groups. The role offers varied school settings and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• HLTA or Teaching Assistant background in primary education.
• Ability to lead lessons and manage classroom when required.
• Strong safeguarding awareness and pupil well-being focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead whole-class or small-group activities as directed.
• Deliver planned lessons and interventions across year groups.
• Provide 1:1 support and assist in absence of the class teacher.
