Resourcing Group is seeking a Principal Highways Engineer in Brighton to lead a varied portfolio of highways and civil projects, from £25k schemes to £10m+ ventures. You will guide design delivery, manage clients, and mentor a Civil 3D team in a hybrid role with three days in the office each week.

The role demands 10+ years’ experience, a Civil Engineering degree, and Chartered status or progress toward it, with strong leadership and delivery capabilities across complex highway schemes.

Qualificações

• 10+ years' experience in highways, consultancy, or equivalent.
• Chartered membership of ICE or CIHT, or progress toward chartered status.
• Experience applying DMRB design standards.

Responsabilidades

• Developing detailed design and build packages for construction.
• Providing technical reviews, approvals and QA across deliverables.
• Managing budget, programme and quality performance for projects.
• Leading multiple projects and coordinating resources from inception to construction.
• Providing technical direction to engineers and technicians.
• Liaising with clients and stakeholders; communicating technical solutions clearly.
• Preparing fee estimates, proposals and project schedules.
