Job summary

Ferrovial is recruiting a High Speed Rail – Cable Management Design Engineer to support the HS2 Track Infrastructure Project. The role focuses on leading CMS design coordination, managing interfaces across rail systems and civils, and ensuring deliverables align with programme requirements.

You will also assist with ballastless track design coordination, design reviews, and technical queries, while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships with designers, contractors, and client

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Mechanical/Railway Engineering or related field.
• Experience in the railway industry and multidisciplinary railway infrastructure projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, organised and able to take ownership of technical deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day coordination of the Cable Management System design across the HS2 Track Infrastructure Contract.
• Coordinate CMS interfaces with permanent works, rail systems, civils, and construction activities.
• Review drawings, specifications and design deliverables; manage design interfaces.
• Track design progress and ensure deliverables meet programme requirements; support technical assurance.
• Coordinate ballastless track design and track-related technical queries and NCRs.
