Job summary

The Cornish Bakery is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager on a six-month FTC to inspire teams and deliver industry leading service. You will lead shifts, coach staff, and ensure high food quality and safety standards while achieving sales KPI targets.

You will manage day-to-day operations, train colleagues on our Rise and Shine programme, and help embed the High End Bakery mindset within a vibrant community-focused store in the UK.

Qualifications

• Leadership or supervisory experience in food service, hospitality, retail or another customer-facing environment.
• Proven ability to motivate a team and deliver excellent customer service.
• Commercial awareness and confidence working towards sales and KPI targets.
• Strong commitment to food quality, safety and operational standards.
• Positive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach.
• Confidence to make decisions, take ownership and lead by example.
