Job summary

Cornish Bakery is seeking an experienced Bakery Manager to empower teams, drive exceptional customer service and uphold high standards of food quality and safety. You will lead a fast-paced operation, nurture staff development, and ensure the bakery remains a vibrant community hub.

As a hands-on leader with a passion for food service, you’ll coach teams, manage costs, and deliver strong KPIs while maintaining brand standards and a positive working culture in the heart of our local community.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality management or supervisory roles.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop teams.
• Experience delivering excellent customer service.
• Experience managing sales targets, budgets and KPIs.
• Food preparation and food service experience.
• Knowledge of food hygiene, food safety, and quality standards.
• Experience training and coaching staff.
• Ability to manage stock, wastage and controllable costs.
• Experience working in a fast-paced customer-facing environment.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
