Job summary

Additional Resources is seeking a Site Manager & Lead Gymnastics Coach to oversee a busy gymnastics site, combining hands-on coaching with team leadership and site operations. You will plan sessions, mentor coaches, manage staffing, ensure safety and compliance, and liaison with parents.

Ideal candidates have around 2 years coaching experience, a background leading a coaching team, and a genuine passion for developing gymnasts while maintaining high standards of safety and customer experience.

Qualifications

• 2 years gymnastics coaching experience or more.
• Experience leading a coaching team or gym programme.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and safe practice in children's sport.

Responsibilities

• Plan structured sessions that encourage technical development and progression.
• Provide direction, support and feedback to the coaching team.
• Allocate coaches to classes and manage staffing arrangements.
• Maintain consistent coaching standards across sessions.
• Monitor participant development and adapt coaching as needed.
• Safeguarding, health and safety, and safe working practices.
• Ensure equipment and facilities are safe, maintained and stored properly.
• Manage gym set-up and pack-down for a ready-to-use site.
• Serve as senior contact for parents and carers, handling queries professionally.
• Assist with class administration, registers and timetables.
• Keep senior management informed on staffing, athlete, equipment and operational matters.
• Identify practical improvements to coaching, customer experience and site performance.
