Additional Resources Ltd. is seeking a Site Manager & Lead Gymnastics Coach to join a busy gymnastics site delivering programmes for children and young people. The role blends hands-on coaching with team supervision, site operations and athlete development to ensure sessions run smoothly and meeting high standards.

Qualifications

• Approximately 2 years' gymnastics coaching experience.
• Experience leading a coaching team or programme.
• Strong leadership in gymnastics settings.
• Deep knowledge of gymnastics techniques and athlete development.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and health and safety in children's sports.
• Ability to tailor coaching to individual athlete needs.
• Genuine passion for gymnastics and developing coaches.

Responsibilities

• Plan structured sessions that encourage technical development and progression.
• Provide direction, support and feedback to the coaching team.
• Allocate coaches to classes and ensure staffing arrangements.
• Maintain consistent coaching standards across sessions.
• Monitor participant development and adapt coaching accordingly.

• Manage gym set-up and pack-down, ensuring the site is organised and ready for use.
• Act as a senior contact for parents and carers, handling queries professionally.
• Support class administration, registers and timetables.
• Keep senior management informed of staffing, athlete, equipment and operational matters.
• Identify practical improvements to the coaching programme, customer experience and site performance.

An opportunity has arisen for a Site Manager & Lead Gymnastics Coach to join an established organisation delivering gymnastics programmes for children and young people.

As a Site Manager & Lead Gymnastics Coach, you will take on a key leadership role combining hands‑on coaching, team supervision, site operations and athlete development, ensuring sessions are delivered effectively while maintaining high standards across the site.

They will consider candidates currently working in another sector, provided they have at least 2 years' previous gymnastics coaching experience.

You will be responsible for:

• Planning structured sessions that encourage technical development and progression.
• Providing direction, support and feedback to the coaching team.
• Allocating coaches to classes and ensuring appropriate staffing arrangements.
• Maintaining consistent coaching standards across sessions.
• Monitoring participant development and adapting coaching where appropriate.
• Taking responsibility for safeguarding, health and safety and safe working practices.
• Checking that equipment and facilities are safe, properly maintained and suitably stored.
• Managing gym set‑up and pack‑down, ensuring the site is organised and ready for use.
• Acting as a senior contact for parents and carers, handling queries and concerns professionally.

What we are looking for:

• Previously worked as a Gymnastics Coach, Gymnastics Instructor, Gymnastics teacher, Gymnastics Activity Instructor, Assistant Gymnastics Coach or in a similar role.
• Approx. 2 years' previous gymnastics coaching experience.
• Background in leading a coaching team or taking responsibility for a gymnastics programme, class or facility.
• Strong team leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of gymnastics techniques, coaching approaches, athlete development and safe practice.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and health and safety within a childrens sports environment.
• Ability to recognise individual athlete needs and adapt coaching accordingly.
• Genuine passion for gymnastics and developing both athletes and fellow coaches.
