Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking a Site Manager and Lead Gymnastics Coach to join an established organisation delivering gymnastics programmes for children. The role combines hands-on coaching, team supervision, site operations and athlete development to ensure high standards across the site.

They welcome candidates from other sectors who have at least 2 years gymnastics coaching experience and are prepared for a leadership role with staff allocations, safeguarding responsibilities and supplier coordination.

Qualifications

• Approx. 2 years gymnastics coaching experience.
• Experience leading a coaching team or programme.
• Strong team leadership experience.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and health and safety in a children's sport environment.
• Ability to recognise individual athlete needs and adapt coaching accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Plan structured sessions that encourage technical development and progression.
• Provide direction, support and feedback to the coaching team.
• Allocate coaches to classes and ensure staffing arrangements.
• Maintain consistent coaching standards across sessions.
• Monitor participant development and adapt coaching where appropriate.
• Take responsibility for safeguarding, health and safety and safe working practices.
• Check that equipment and facilities are safe, properly maintained and stored.
• Manage gym set-up and pack-down, ensuring the site is organised and ready for use.
• Act as senior contact for parents and carers, handling queries and concerns professionally.
• Support class administration, registers and timetables.
• Keep senior management informed of staffing, athlete, equipment and operational matters.
• Identify practical improvements to the coaching programme, customer experience and site performance.

An opportunity has arisen for a Site Manager and Lead Gymnastics Coach to join an established organisation delivering gymnastics programmes for children and young people.

As a Site Manager and Lead Gymnastics Coach, you will take on a key leadership role combining hands:on coaching, team supervision, site operations and athlete development, ensuring sessions are delivered effectively while maintaining high standards across the site. This role offers competitive salary and benefits.

They will consider candidates currently working in another sector, provided they have at least 2 years previous gymnastics coaching experience.

You Will Be Responsible For

• Planning structured sessions that encourage technical development and progression.
• Providing direction, support and feedback to the coaching team.
• Allocating coaches to classes and ensuring appropriate staffing arrangements.
• Maintaining consistent coaching standards across sessions.

• Managing gym set:up and pack:down, ensuring the site is organised and ready for use.

What We Are Looking For

• Previously worked as a Gymnastics Coach, Gymnastics Instructor, Gymnastics teacher, Gymnastics Activity Instructor, Assistant Gymnastics Coach or in a similar role.
• Approx. 2 years previous gymnastics coaching experience.
• Background in leading a coaching team or taking responsibility for a gymnastics programme, class or facility.
• Strong team leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of gymnastics techniques, coaching approaches, athlete development and safe practice.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and health and safety within a childrens sports environment.
• Ability to recognise individual athlete needs and adapt coaching accordingly.
• Genuine passion for gymnastics and developing both athletes and fellow coaches.
