Job summary

Additional Resources seeks a Gymnastics Coach to lead coaching and site operations while developing athletes. You will guide the coaching team, plan sessions and ensure safeguarding, health and safety across the site.

Key requirements include approximately 2 years in gymnastics coaching, plus a background in leading a coaching programme and a passion for developing both athletes and fellow coaches. The role emphasises teamwork and site leadership.

Qualifications

• Approx. 2 years gymnastics coaching experience.
• Experience leading a coaching team or programme.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and health and safety in children's sports.

Responsibilities

• Plan structured sessions for technical development.
• Provide direction, support and feedback to the coaching team.
• Allocate coaches to classes and manage staffing.
• Maintain coaching standards across sessions.
• Monitor participant development and adapt coaching.
• Oversee safeguarding, health and safety and safe working practices.
• Check equipment and facilities are safe, maintained and stored.
• Manage gym set-up and pack-down and site readiness.
• Keep senior management informed of staffing, athlete, equipment and operational matters.
• Identify practical improvements to coaching programme and customer experience.
