Job summary

Calibre Search is working with a civil engineering and groundworks contractor in Lincolnshire to recruit an experienced Groundworks Site Manager for a new residential development starting January 2026. The role offers long-term stability with a well-established contractor and a competitive salary package.

You will oversee groundworks on a busy site, manage teams and subcontractors, ensure safety and quality, and report progress to senior management, building strong relationships with the client

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience managing groundworks on residential developments.
• SMSTS and CSCS are essential.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all groundworks operations on a busy new-build housing site.
• Manage site teams, subcontractors, and coordinate plant and material deliveries.
• Ensure works are completed safely, on programme, and to high-quality standards.
• Keep accurate records and report progress to senior management.
• Build strong working relationships with the client, housebuilder, and internal teams.
