Job summary

A leading groundworks contractor in the Midlands is looking for a Contracts Manager to oversee residential groundworks schemes. The successful candidate will have proven delivery experience, strong site leadership, and excellent client communication skills. This full-time, permanent role offers a competitive salary range of £60,000–£70,000 PAYE or £100,000–£120,000 self-employed, plus additional benefits. The position is regional, focusing on the Leicester area with no national travel expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ proven delivery in residential groundworks.
• Strong site leadership across concurrent projects.
• JCT experience ideal, NEC welcome.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple sites to programme, quality and margin.
• Set tone on H&S and quality control.
• Drive planning, progress reporting and recovery actions.
