Job summary

Guernsey Limited is seeking a leader to head a team of GIS Technicians and Specialists responsible for capturing, controlling, and maintaining asset information across subsea, generation and network assets. The role focuses on developing GIS systems aligned to the business strategy and integrating data from across the organisation.

The candidate will lead a team using modern survey techniques and GIS to update asset records with high accuracy, adapting to fast-changing workloads and priorities

Qualifications

• Background in GIS deployment, development and use.
• CPD evidence and relevant subject knowledge required.
• Strong software proficiency in core GIS tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of GIS Technicians and Specialists.
• Oversee capture, control and maintenance of asset registers and GIS data.
• Drive development and integration of GIS systems per strategy.
• Ensure high accuracy and quality control in all outputs.
• Collaborate with clients on-site and manage changing workloads.
