Job summary

Guernsey Electricity is seeking a results-driven GIS Team Lead to manage a team of GIS technicians and specialists responsible for capturing, maintaining, and validating asset information across subsea, generation, and network assets.

You will steer the development of GIS systems within the business, drive data integration from across departments, and ensure high accuracy and quality control in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of GIS Technicians and Specialists responsible for the capture, control and maintenance of asset information registers, databases, drawn records and digital data systems for major infrastructure categories such as subsea, generation and network assets.
• Lead the development of GIS systems within the business against an agreed strategy focusing on network records but also developing the integration of data from across the business into the core GIS to improve the information available.
• Lead the team using modern survey techniques and full utilisation of the GIS to update and maintain asset records, work efficiently, to a high-level of accuracy and quality control.
