Job summary

Jersey Electricity PLC is seeking an Infrastructure and Digital Mapping Technician to ensure the organisation's infrastructure and spatial data are accurate and accessible. The role will support data governance, mapping standards and business processes using ArcGIS, Esri tools, Utility Network and CAD systems.

Required experience includes GIS, ArcGIS/QGIS, asset/records management, and automation scripting with Python, SQL, Arcade, VBA or Power Automate.

Qualifications

• Experience with GIS tools and asset/records management.
• Knowledge of Esri ArcGIS and GIS data governance.

Responsibilities

Jersey Electricity is looking for an Infrastructure and Digital Mapping Technician who will be responsible for ensuring the organisation's infrastructure, asset, and spatial information is accurate, accessible, and of high quality. The role supports the management of digital records, data governance, mapping standards and business processes through the use of ArcGIS, Esri tools, Utility Network, CAD systems and related tech.

Skills Required:

• Experience working with GIS QGIS, ArcGIS, Esri products, mapping, asset information or technical record systems.
• Knowledge of Esri Utility Network models and migration projects.
• Knowledge of asset management, records management or Enterprise Asset Management systems.
• Skills in automation, scripting or coding using tools such as Python, SQL, Arcade, VBA or Power Automate.
