ASDA is seeking a Lead Manager - Geospatial to lead and evolve our geospatial capability. You will define and deliver a strategic roadmap, integrating geospatial intelligence, analytics and data science into measurable commercial value across the business.

In this hybrid role, you will partner with senior stakeholders across multiple functions, shaping the geospatial agenda, managing a portfolio of projects, and driving growth and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience leading analytics, geospatial or data science teams in a large organisation.
• Expertise in geospatial analytics and location intelligence for business decisions.
• Strong SQL, Python and cloud data platforms incl. Databricks.
• Experience with ESRI desktop and web GIS.
• Ability to define strategic roadmaps and capability development.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver the geospatial strategy aligned to business objectives.
• Develop a multi-year geospatial roadmap balancing short- and long-term needs.
• Lead geospatial analytics, modelling and location-based decision support.
• Oversee governance of geospatial data assets.
• Manage a team of managers, analysts and specialists.
• Partner with senior leaders to influence investments.
