Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to own end-to-end technical delivery within the Data Center Services portfolio. You will design, build, and secure full-stack solutions across frontend (React) and backend (Node.js/TypeScript), while serving as an Application Owner and driving engineering excellence in a collaborative, agile team.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SDLC experience from design to ops
• Proficient in React frontend development and state mgmt
• Strong Node.js/TypeScript backend and API design
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and code reviews
• Knowledge of security, governance, and cloud security responsibilities
• Familiarity with risk, controls, and compliance in regulated environments
• Experience in agile teams and Scrum ceremonies
• Application owner or governance experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver full-stack solutions (Angular to be updated? from text it is Angular frontend; but later says React; we'll keep React)
• Develop secure, production-ready code with quality reviews
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve productivity and quality
• Mentor junior engineers and drive engineering excellence
• Own app profile and registration in governance systems
• Work with Risk and TRC to assess risk and controls
• Manage lifecycle activities including DR tests and capacity planning
• Ensure SDLC governance and security and resiliency requirements
• Coordinate with Product Manager for sprint planning alignment
• Engage in communities of practice for modern tooling and patterns
